Bowies are usually large knives and appeal mostly to men for things like hunting or camping. This Bowie however may also appeal to women. The blade is made from stainless steel with a satin finish. It does come with an edge which will need to be honed according to how you like it. A floral and mallard duck design is featured on both sides and etched in the blade. This knife has a full tang construction as you can see that the tang runs the entire length of the handle. The guard is polished brass and held into place with brass pins just like the handle. The handle mounts are made from wood that have been contoured and shaped for a firm comfortable grip. They have been stained and sealed with a lanyard hold in the pommel. Included with this amazing blade is a tooled leather sheath with a snap closure and belt loop.
