Damascus steel is quite legendary for its strong, durable, and excellent edge retention nature.
With this blade you can see how all the swirls and waves create a decorative rain drop pattern. This technique comes about by the Blacksmith banding and folding different metals together at high and low temperatures depending on the look they want to achieve. The blade comes in a drop point style with a fuller running the length of the top of the blade. If you are not mesmerized by this blade already then the handle will surly grab your attention. The maker used polished bone with brass and wood inserts to accentuate each section of the handle. To finish off the handle the guard and pommel are also made of Damascus steel which only adds to the value of the piece. When your blade is not in use you can store it away in a genuine handcrafted leather sheath that includes a place to store a whetstone in the front. You will also notice that both the sheath and the blade feature the Hunt For Life logo.
